2058 Jestha 19: It has been recorded in history as a
black day that Nepalese can never forget. There are many stories of doubts and
suspicions about what happened on this day when the dynasty of the then King
Birendra was destroyed. But the fact
that the high-level committee formed to officially investigate this incident,
after observing the scene, collecting physical objects and scientific
examination, interviewing the people who witnessed the incident, the victims of
the incident, and the people involved in the rescue work, including the royal
guards, and the doctors involved in the treatment, made public the following
facts:
At 7:30 pm: As per the tradition of organizing a
family gathering regularly on the third Friday night of every month at
Narayanhiti Rajdarbar, invitation to Tribhuvan Sadan of Narayanhiti Rajdarbar
on Friday 1st June 2001 i.e. jestha 19 2058 BS.
At 8 pm. Prince Dipendra went to Mahendra-Manjil, the
bungalow where Mumabadamaharani lives, in his own motor, and drove his motorcar
to Tribhuvan Sadan, the gathering place.
After 8 pm: Prince Dipendra played billiards alone for
some time in the billiard room of Tribhuvan Sadan and also drank 1/2 pack of
whiskey. Some time before King Birendra
Tribhuvan rode to Sadan (about 10-12 minutes before), the crown prince's body
could not be held back and was swaying, is it because of the effect of
whiskey? Remembering that, Neerajan,
Paras, Kumar Gorakh and Dr. Rajeev were 4 people and drove to Khopi inside
Tribhuvan Sadan.
At 8:19 pm. While Prince Dipendra was in the billiard
room, his predecessor Gajendra Vohra was ordered to bring cigarettes by mobile
phone. Accordingly, as ordered by Bohra
to the royal orderly Ramakrishna KC, he handed over a special type of cigarette
(Shikhar cigarette prepared by mixing gaja and another undisclosed black
substance) to the front door of the billiard room through Paras.
At 8:12 pm. Prince Deependra's mobile phone
conversation with Devyani Rana for 1 minute and 14 seconds.
8:19 pm. For the second time, Devyani Rana talked to Prince
Dipendra's mobile from his landline phone for 4 minutes and 14 seconds. As the voice seemed to be low during the
conversation, the reason for not being able to say anything else was, "prince's
voice is a little low, isn't it a little calm?" "I called Gajendra Vohra, the successor
of prince, at his office and Raju Karki at his house and asked him to go to
Khopi," Devyani later told the committee.
According to this, when the orderly Ramakrishna KC and
mother Jamuna Adhikari reached Khopi, Prince was lying on the floor and when he
tried to take off his upper body clothes, they helped him to remove the
clothes. The statement of mother and
orderly Ramakrishna KC that they were ordered to go to their respective rooms.
8:30 pm: King Birendra rode directly from his office
to Tribhuvan Sadan, visited the Queen Muma Vada Maharani and after some time of
auspiciousness, rode towards the billiard room.
8:39 pm: Prince Dipendra talked to Devyani Rana's
mobile for 32 seconds from his phone.
"Now I'm going to sleep", "Good night, let's talk
tomorrow" is Devyani's statement.
After a phone call with Devyani Rana, Prince Dipendra
dressed in a military uniform and took weapons with him and went out of Khopi. Ardali Ramakrishna thought that there would
be a ride outside, "Emergency Vaye Takryaunu Sarkar?" Ardali Ramakrishna's statement that it was
ordered that "not now".
Vice Bachuram KC saw Prince Dipendra in military dress
with two rifles entering the billiard room from the sitting room on the eastern
side of the dining room attached to the billiard room.
The Prince entered into the Billiard Room dressed in
military camouflage. Black colored gun
-9 mm. Caliber MP-5K Automatic Sub-machine
Gun) fired into the room's ceiling and west wall. After that, King Birendra, who was standing
on the east side of the billiard table and was talking to others, fired a few
shots and moved back out of the billiard room.
Throw a 12-gauge gun (SPAS 12- L FRENCH SPA) near the bell on the north
side of the inner garden on the east side of the room and re-enter the billiard
room. Bringing a rifle 5.56mm Caliber
Colt M-16 A2 with a light and telescope, he came back and moved back to the
door after firing King Birendra and Kumar Gorakh Shamsher Rana, Dhirendra Shah
and Kumar Khadga Vikram Shah. Stepping
forward for the third time, Prince Dipendra moved out of the billiard room
towards the inner garden towards the east, firing indiscriminately at Princess
Shruti Rajyalakshmi Devi Rana, Princess Sharda Rajyalakshmi Shah, Princess
Shanti Rajyalakshmi Singh and Shahjayadi Jayanti Shah and others. Statements of prinecess Shobha, Paras, Kumar
Gorakh, Ketaki Chester, Ravi Shamsher, Dr. Rajeev Shahi, Maheshwar Kumar Singh
present at the scene)
After firing indiscriminately in the billiard room for
the third time, while moving back towards the inner garden on the east side,
the figure of a woman wearing a red saree was also chased towards it.
Queen Aishwarya was riding behind Prince Nirajan at a
place like the confluence of the path leading from the billiard room to the
eastern inner garden, the road leading to Tribhuvan Sadan Khopi, north of the
garden, and the small path leading to the waiting area (shed) on the east side
(according to Mrs. Ketki Chester).

standing in the small square facing south facing south and shooting from north
to south. The position of the bullet holes found there and also the bullet
holes on the wall on the south side were seen from the observation of the scene
and it was at that place that Prince Neerajan was seen lying unconscious with
his head towards the east. Soldier Bishnu
Khadka also took the bag out from there and put it in the motor and took it to
the hospital.
After the firing in the Billiard room, the royal
retinues in the inner room of the ADC office on the right side of the main door
of the Tribhuvan Sadan heard the sound of firing and "Call a doctor
quickly..." and went inside to rescue the Billiard room quickly by
breaking the glass of the door on the south side of that room, which was always
closed. Sundar Pratap Rana, a veteran
general, also entered and carried King Birendra out in an unconscious state and
put him in a motor and took him to the military hospital camp.
Firing was fired from the landing area at the top of
the staircase where Queen Aishwarya reached the Khopi in the seventh hole of
the inner staircase through the main gate leading to the Khopi on the north
side of the small pond leading to the Khopi of Prince Dipendra. At the place where Queen Aishwarya was said
to have fallen, the Brain came out and was scattered, some teeth and jaws were
scattered all over the place, red tika, two red ear tops, red bangle pieces,
blood splatters were in places, it was seen from the observation of the scene.
Rescue personnel soldier Bishnu Khadka and royal
