DJI, the world's largest drone
manufacturer, has been blacklisted by the US.

US Department of Defense has blacklisted DJI for increasing relations
with the Chinese army.

Last week, apart from DJI, the
department blacklisted 13 more companies.

Along with this, the number of Chinese companies on the US blacklist has
reached more than 60, including the semiconductor manufacturing company SMIC

Meanwhile, DJI spokesperson Adam
Lisberg responded that there is no reason for them to be blacklisted.
He also claimed that DJI is the only drone
manufacturer that discourages the use of its aircraft for military purposes.
DJI Technology, based in Shenzhen, China,
occupies 76 percent of the world's drain market share.

It sells drones for public safety,
infrastructure, power line inspection, agriculture, and other uses.

Meanwhile, China has warned the US
not to use its scientific and technological achievements to hinder the
development of other countries.
